Sarah Jane’s Bakery truly can say "Baked with Love". Located in N.E. Minneapolis at 29th and Johnson Street, Sarah Jane's has been an institution since 1979, providing fresh, delicious, melt in your mouth goodies.

We are truly an old fashioned bakery, which will instantly bring you back to your youth, when you stood before cases loaded with delectable treats. So many you just couldn’t choose one! We pride ourselves on baking from scratch. This means everything we do is made from a recipe, and not pulled from a box or freezer. What a concept! We do not add any preservatives, and only use the best, quality ingredients. The baker still starts at 9 p.m. at night, so that you can have warm, fresh donuts at 5 a.m. in the morning. What a sight, seeing the cases loaded, with all your favorites. It’s sure to start your day out with a smile.

We have become known as the place to get your holiday pies. Our pies are all hand made, with a wonderful, flakey crust. We have a wide assortment, but are best known for our scrumptious Rhubarb Custard pie. (Just like Grandma’s.) And it wouldn’t be Christmas without our famous fruitcake, rich butter cookies, rosettes, fattigman, peanut brittle, and divinity.
